Playa Playazo

The most natural rugged beach here in Nerja.  Flat and almost straight about 2km long stretching from the east edge of town along to the Marinas de Nerja hotel complex, passing several beach bars along the way.  At the moment undergoing improvements by the town hall ie: showers etc.,

Playa Torrecilla
The Torrecilla beach has undergone many changes in the last year.  A promenade been built with lighting and seating.  Alot of off shore work took place to improve the water line, it is now very much calmer, an ideal beach for young children as the sea is very shallow and the sand is soft, not pebbly.
There are two bar/restaurants and ice-cream kiosk.

   

Playa Salon

Salon beach is a pretty bay reached by a windy pathway that goes between Unicaja Bank and Marisol Restaurant on the Balcon de Europa.  There is a beach bar called  El Caballito del Mar.

 Playa Caletilla

Playa Caletilla is the small beach in-front of the Hotel Europa,  there are pedalos to  hire from here.

Playa Calahonda

Another scenic bay reached by pathway down the left side of the Balcon de Europa, this is pathway leads down to the Calahonda beach, but also takes you along the coastal walkway passing many other hidden bays, right to the very end were you will find the Burriana beach.

Playa Carabeo The Playa Carabeo is the bay that Calle Carabeo overlooks, you may reach this beach from an entrance on Calle Carabeo, which has many steps leading down to the cove, or by the coastal walkway.

Burriana beach is the most commercial of all Nerjas beaches.
It is the largest and has many bars/restaurants and cafeterias.  A long wide beach with shaded sun-beds to hire and many water-sports facilities.
